Abnormally Funny People sold out a short run at the Soho Theatre in London. We are now planning a small tour of England for early 2009.

Abnormally Funny People have just received funding from the Arts Council to put on Abnormally Funny People Too at the Soho Theatre in Jan/Feb 2008, a brand new show with sketches and stand-up.
May 2007
The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) hired Abnormally Funny People to perform comedy on buses around the country to help promote their campaign on getting more young people on public transport - check it out at the GOJO website.
Nov 2006Al Edirisinghe, the director of the Abnormally Funny People Documentary has just picked up an award from the Moscow Disability Film Festival (called 'Breaking Down Barriers'). The Documentary picked up the 'Most Uplifting Film" award. There were only 5 or 6 winners out of over a hundred entries. The film also opened the Festival.
Sky funded a documentary of the making of the Abnormally Funny People show that went to Edinburgh in 2005. The documentary won a Merit Award at the San Francisco Superfest Film Festival and was shown a second time at the Mayors Annual Disability Celebration. Simon Minty went out there to pick up the award, to give a talk and to sun his body.
