Let's get one thing straight right from the off: Paul Betney does shake and it is for real, but what the hell!? It has never stopped him from grabbing life by the balls and tightening his grip! (He does wear out shoes quite quickly though, 'cos he walks kinda funny). He deals with it in a frank, unselfconscious way that Chortle describes as a “self effacing and winningly upbeat celebration of what makes him different”.

Paul has performed stand up in just about every kind of venue imaginable: the obligatory pubs & working men’s clubs and of course professional comedy clubs but also poetry nights, political party conferences, coffee shops, drag clubs, strip clubs and his personal favourite, a laundromat.
